If you want to become an international businessperson while developing a sense of living in a large diverse environment and training your English, ASEAN countries are one to pick. Salaries for business development and sales professionals, especially in start-up companies, have risen by as much as 20% over the past year for new hires. The salaries of private white-collar workers were not low at all lately, but they have gone up even more.

That’s why no one from ASEAN states in middle class or above would come to Japan for a long term job. Of course, they come in large numbers for temporary tourism. Thanks anyway.

I would like to see young Japanese samurais who are determined to make a name for themselves in Southeast Asia. I would like to see them developing new and experimental eco-systems between ASEANs and Japan and turn them around into a reality.
